Kare Kano Version 2

This is the current version of Akaihane's website devoted to the anime/manga, Kare Kano/His and Her Circumstances. The site was revamped in Summer 2005 with advanced CSS and a good bit of graphics work. As the school setting of the story is so important, it has been given the feel of a school notebook.

Initially, the photos in the characters' profiles were going to be one large image with image maps to link to larger versions, and the photos were going to be thrown together. However, due to IE's incompatablity with transparent PNGs, and as GIFs brought the quality down too far, Akaihane has had to resort to each photograph laid separately.

The only addition remaining to this site is some sketchy illustrations for the header and footer.

The site is completely XHTML valid.

Kare Kano Version 1

Thsi version of the Kare Kano site, then named 'Tenshi no Yubiriki', was made during Akaihane's first year of university and updated up until 2003. It used a different CSS for each section, and all text was displayed in an iframe.

Due to some incompatibilities of iframes with Mozilla-based browsers, this site was revamped and the new version can be seen above.
