So to that end, I’ve finally actually finished an illustration! (Though I’m not promising I won’t end up trying to polish it up when my skills improve over the next while. His ears are certainly too big …) I have a number of incomplete ones filed away on my computer, but this is the first one I see as completed to the point I’m happy to put it online where other people can look, comment, and potentially criticise it. I’m still very much a beginner when it comes to “painting” illustrations on the computer (and am not sure what style I’ll end up going with), and am only getting back to drawing after far too long away, but I think this is a good attempt and is pushing me forward onto refining my skills further. Fingers crossed I’ll be even happier with the next one.
