Synopsis
When Ash, Misty and Tracey, and their Pokémon, take a nap,
Togepi wonders away from the group, ending up rolling down a hill
and into a hole.
The other Pokémon wake and go to look for their little
friend. After travelling down the hole, they meet a group
of friendly Pokémon, including an Elekid, who help them look
for Togepi. It turns out that an Exeggecute has lost one of
it's egg, and has adopted Togepi as it's replacement, and doesn't
want to give it up, so the Pokémon set off to find the missing
Exeggecute egg.
During their search, however, they are caught up in a terrible
storm, and they and the local Pokémon must stop the Exeggecute
nests from being blown away in the wind. They succeed, and
the lost Exeggecute egg turns up in a Chancey's pouch.
Once it's returned to it's group, the eggs all start dancing around
a leaf stone and evolve into an Exeggecutor. Ash's, Misty's
and Tracey's Pokémon say good bye to their new friends, and
return to their trainers.
When the humans wake up, they see their Pokémon playing
next to them in the lake, never knowing the adventure their friends
have just experienced.
Movie Info
This
is the featurette to the second Pokémon movie, 'The Power
of One'. It was released in Japan in 1999, and in the West
in 2000. The story tells the story of what Ash, Misty, and
Tracey's Pokémon get up to when their trainers fall asleep.
Togepi wanders off, and while trying to get it back, Pikachu and
the others fall down a hole, and met a whole plethora of new Pokémon.
Just like the first mini-movie, 'Pikachu's Vacation', this movie
is approx. 20 minutes long, and is aimed primarily towards the younger
fans (where 'The Power of One' is mainly aimed at the older fans).
It's is cheerful, light-hearted and teaches the importance of teamwork.
