Pikachu & Pichu JAPANESE TITLE : 'Poketto Monsutaa: Pichû to Pikachû'
'Pikachu & Pichu' takes place in a large, thirties-style city. When Ash, Misty and Brock leave their Pokémon on the top of a skyscraper while they leave to take care of some business, Pikachu sees two cheeky Pichus (the pre-evolution of Pikachu). When he climbs to the end of a flag pole, he is attacked by a group of Murkrow, making him fall off the building. Luckily, though, he lands on a group of Hoppip and is able to make his way to a window cleaners platform. However, the window cleaner is actually Meowth, attempting to earn a little money for his team. Pikachu's landing causes Meowth to fly into a nearby billboard. Pikachu reaches the Pichus, but he is unable to get back to his Pokémon friends, and he needs to get back by 6pm or he will be in trouble with Ash. Luckily, the Pichu brothers know how to get him back. By descending down a few floors of the building, and hitching a ride ontop of a double-decker bus, it seems that they are nearing the building where the other Pokémon are, but their plans are interrupted when they anger a Houndour. As they run away from the Houndour, they discover a playground created by some of the local city Pokémon. After, these Pokémon leave to go home, the Houndour finds Pikachu and the Pichu, and the playground is almost destroyed in their attempt to get away. But the Pokémon that made it come back and they, along with Pikachu, the Pichus and Houndour repair the damage. But time is beginning to run out. It's almost six! Luckily, the Pichu brothers have a plan. Using a tire, they rush, and get there just in time. After saying good bye to the brothers, Ash, Misty and Brock arrive back. It turns out that it's the anniversary of Ash and Pikachu's meeting, and the humans have planned a huge party for everyone. As everyone tucks into the treats, Ash thanks Pikachu for being a great pal.
'Pikachu & Pichu' is the 20 minute featurette that precedes
'The Spell of the Unown'. Like the other featurettes, it has
very little dialogue, and tells of what the Pokémon get up
to when the humans are away.
