Short Synopsis
The main movie centres around Celebi (#251, "a
time-traveller creature that has powers over nature
as well as time and space"). In the movie,
Celebi takes a teenage boy named Sammy (Yukinari in
the Japanese version) forty years into the future
where he meets Ash, Misty and Brock. The film
also introduces a new Team Rocket member, a hunter
named The Masked Maraueder (Vicious in the Japanese
version) who wishes to capture Celebi.
Movie Info
There was actually content added to this movie for
the dubbed version. Originally, the big surprise at
the end was only hinted at during the credits. However,
due to the fact that in the West most people do not
stay to enjoy the credits of a movie, and as Western
society has less tolerance to subtle clues, two extra
scenes were added.
