Character Statistics
Character Profile Marina is Kenta and Jun'ichi's childhood friend. She is somewhat naive, never really noticing the fact that the two boys are both competing for her affections. Like her two friends, she set off on her journey alone. She dreams of becoming an Idol Master, which entails a lot of singing and dancing. She loves cute Pokemon and gives everyone she captures adorable names. Her Totodile (Waninoko in Japanese), and later her Croconaw, is named Wani-Wani, her Jigglypuff Pink-chan and her Misdreavus (Mumaa in Japanese) Muu-chan. She idolises Lance of the Elite Four, always carrying around a scrapbook full of pictures of him. After meeting up with her two old friends, the group become involved
in a Team Rocket plot to capture one of the three legendary dogs,
Raikou, a God of Lightning. The young trainers battle against many
members of the organisation in an attempt to quash Team Rocket's
evil plans and free Raikou. At one point Marina is kidnapped, but
instead of worrying about her own well-being, she attempts to convince
Raikou to escape, proving how selfless she can be. POKÉMON
