PROFILE - Hiromi is Tsubasa's father's second wife. She and Toshiharu met after Tsubasa was admitted to hospital after a serious accident. Hiromi supported Toshiharu through this difficult time and they quickly fell in love and became engaged.

Hiromi attempted to prove to Tsubasa that she would be a good wife for her father, but the teenager felt this woman was just trying to steal her father from her. Hiromi's relationship with Tsubasa only really changed when Tsubasa saw Hiromi's true personality; messy and short-tempered, but still very caring and kind.

When her son, Kazuma, and Tsubasa become friends, she and Toshiharu quickly marry and she moves into the Shibahime residence.
