Illustration, Insupire-shon
Once based in Los Angeles and now in Thailand, illustrator Yoko Tanaka creates pieces that are adorable but slightly morbid and reminiscent of children’s fairy tale books. The soft, limited palette combined with the medium of acrylic on wood lends her paintings a beautiful endearing texture and depth.

All of these are incredible – reminds me a lot of Alice in Wonderland and Mark Ryden which is definitely a good thing!

I’d never heard of Mark Ryden before, but his stuff is amazing! Completely and utterly my style. I want a Pink Lincoln!
