CLAMP are good to their characters (at least in terms other than plotting ^^); they’ve even given one of their longest established characters a birthday present in the form of a cover.
Today CLAMP-NET released the covers for the deluxe and standard editions of Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE Vol. 18, and thankfully Subaru has finally gotten his own, the announcement of which was made on what would be his Tokyo Babylon/X persona’s 33rd birthday. (Don’t you just love it when you have the complete birthday of an anime or manga character?)
I’ve been hoping for this cover from the start of the X-crossover arch where Subaru first appears in Tsubasa (first as he’ll undoubtably be back to tie up the loose ends from that storyline in a few volumes time), and as Sei-chan, Kamui and Fuuma have all had volume covers already, it’s definitely time. And it certainly is a gorgeous cover.
This is certainly must-have for a Subaru addict like myself.
