Welcome to "Altruism", a website devoted to the protagonist of two of CLAMP's greatest manga masterpieces, Tokyo Babylon and X (a.k.a. X/1999).
For fifteen years now, millions of readers all over the whole have been following the story of Sumeragi Subaru, the 13th Generation Head of the Sumeragi family, the chief clan of Onmyojis in Japan. From an innocent, caring and devoted sixteen-year-old in Tokyo Babylon, to a broken man, searching only for a conclusion to a selfish wish, in X, we have seen him mature and develop.
With X currently in limbo due to publishing problems, there still is no conclusion to his story, though it has recently taken what could be a dark turn.
