I’m Karen, the designer behind Akaihane {pronounced Ah-kah-hah-neh}. I am passionate about all areas of design, from graphic to fashion and interior, and a devoted lover of art.

I’m a trained digital designer, but have moved away from that field in order to concentrate my abilities on pure design and illustration, and away from the world of coding.

Aside from the client work I undertake, I’m currently developing an online store to sell some of my creations, such as cards and prints.

Away from work, I love relaxing at home, usually reading, with my partner and our three cats.
